Bottom Brackets and Cups
Different types of bottom brackets for MTBs, road bikes, city and fitness bikes
Hollowtech, square taper and Octalink BBs
A BB consists of two bearings, one at either side, through which the pedal axle is fitted. The crank arms are mounted on this pedal axle.
Bottom brackets are a hidden component of every bike and yet the bearings are subjected to peak loads. Therefore, you should make sure your BB is of high quality.
To find out which BB is right for you, you should take into account the frame’s BB shell size and the type of cranks. We provide detailed information on the BB standard and dimensions for each bottom bracket of our range. Of course, you can also contact us for advice.
