Details

This leather bar tape by the leather specialist Brooks feels soft and smooth. It is traditionally made from the same natural leather as Brooks saddles. Perforations in the bar tape make for more breathability. This bar tape upgrades any bar and looks good on black and silver aluminium bars, as well as on carbon bars.

Been using brooks leather bar tape for a number of years , quality seems to have gone down, seems very thin and also the brooks logo has gone , seems almost fake ???.

Prima Qualität. Empfehlung aber nur für versierte Wickler, die sich nicht zum ersten Mal mit der Verkleidung ihres Rennlenkers vertraut machen wollen. Das Material ist - Lederbedingt - etwas unflexibel, aber durchaus gut zu wickeln. Für enge Wicklung ist das Band fast ein wenig zu kurz geraten (oder ich mache was falsch :-?

Sieht zwar gut zuerst aus und fühlt sich angenehm an. Allerdings ist das Band sehr starr und störrisch, so dass das Wickeln eine Herausforderung ist. An einem vollkommen geraden Lenker geht es noch, doch sobald eine Krümmung des Lenkers oder ein Bremshebel im Weg ist, wird es problematisch. Besonders an engen Krümmungen wirft das Band unvermeidlich große Falten, da kann man noch so fest ziehen. Das sieht dann richtig hässlich aus und greift sich unangenehm.

Das Band ist leider sehr empfindlich beim Montieren, es reißt bei Zugbelastung während der Montage ,sehr schnell ein.

Wir möchten uns bei dir bedanken, dass du dir die Zeit genommen hast, das Band zu bewerten und bedauern, dass der Artikel dir nicht zu 100 % zusagt. Leider können wir aus der Ferne nicht beurteilen, wie starkt die Zugbelastung gewesen ist. Dein ROSE-Bikes Team.
