The award-winning MTB jacket by ENDURA has received a facelift and became the MT500 WATERPROOF JACKET II. A new addition is the EXOSHELL 40DR fabric, which is more robust and also protects against rain and storms. This waterproof jacket was created in the Scottish Highlands and was tested and approved by team riders all over the world. A true allrounder for everyone wanting to ride in any weather.

EXOSHELL 40DR:
The EXOSHELL 40DR fabric is just as breathable and waterproof as the standard EXOSHELL 40 fabric, but even more long-lasting. So there’s nothing standing in the way of your next mountain bike adventure. The robust, durable outer layer is paired with a soft, wicking inner layer, which absorbs the moisture and releases it through the extremely fine membrane. The EXOSHELL 40DR fabric has been treated – just like all other waterproof products from ENDURA – with a PFC-free, water-repellent coating.

The reflective elements attached to the clothing as design elements or decoration do not represent a personal protective equipment as mentioned in EU regulation 2016/425.

Die Jacke war seit langem mein Wunschtraum. Wetterschutz und Tragekomfort sind sehr gut. Lediglich die Reißverschlüsse haken häufig. Die Kapuze überm Helm ist im Winter genial.

Die Jacke ist leicht und trotzdem hält sie etwas warm. Das liegt aber am weichen Krageninnenfutter und der 100% Winddichtigkeit. Ob sie wirklich atmungsaktiv ist, kann ich noch nicht sagen. Sicherlich hilft aber das gute Lüftungskonzept (neben den Reißverschlüssen unter den Armen, kann auch durch die Fronttaschen gelüftet werden).
Ich habe die Jacke in M gekauft, damit im Zweifel noch ein Flies drunter passt. Das tut es auch locker. 174cm, 71kg.
Das einzige, was mich stört, ist der Stoff hinter dem Reißverschluss. Er ist links angebracht, wie bei einer Damenjacke. Daran gewöhne ich mich nicht wirklich (bisher).

Tolle Jacke, aber eng geschnitten. Ich musste diese in eine Nummer größer kaufen, als gewohnt. Regen hält die Jacke gut ab, dabei ist diese trotzdem so luftig, dass sich die Hitze in der Jacke nicht staut. Schwitzen tue ich in dieser Jacke jedenfalls nicht, dass habe ich bei billigeren Jacken schon öfters erlebt oder sie waren halt nicht regendicht.

Guter, eng liegender Schnitt mit tollen Details an der Jacke. Leider waren mir die Arme etwas zu kurz, und da noch eine Fleece-Jacke drunter passen soll, werde ich sie umtauschen gegen eine Nummer größer, als bei mir sonst üblich.
Vorsicht bei der Farbe "muskat": die kräftig orange Darstellung im Online-Katalog hat nichts mit dem zu tun, wie die Jacke in echt aussieht. Die Farbbezeichnung lässt das schon vermuten: schaut euch eine Muskatnuss an, dann wisst ihr, was kommt. Ist eine sehr schöne Farbe, allerdings ohne jegliche Signalwirkung im Strassenverkehr.
