To fix a chain guard to a Shimano STEPS middle motor you need a special bracket. The Hebie bracket for Shimano STEPS motors is screwed on the drive-side bearing block of the main shaft and its angle can be individually adjusted.
The matching Hebie chainguard system for hybrid and city bikes consists of a special twist bracket and an optionally compatible chainguard for 38-tooth chainrings from the Hebie range (e.g. item no.: 2268872).
· For Shimano STEPS mid drive system
· 180 mm chainguard bracket
· For chainrings up to 38 teeth
· Can be tilted through 45°
· With screws
· Material: steel, coated
Compatibility: for Hebie Chainguard 310, 330, 342 and 395
Note: As the chainguard bracket is mounted on the main shaft bearing, you should have a crank puller and chainring bolt tool for installation.
