MUKO Bike Tour on the 18. of august
85 km cycling for a good cause!
Cycling is fun, especially when it’s done for a good cause. On 18 August, the 6th MUKO Bike Tour is going to take place in Bocholt, Germany – a 95-kilometre charity ride for the German Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation. However, it’s not only worth to join the tour because of the good cause: For 59 euros, you cannot only register for the tour, but you’ll also get a limited MUKO Bike Tour jersey. Last year, we raised and donated a total of €47 000 thanks to jersey sales for around 400 starters and sponsorship money. Among the participants, who ride on road bikes, mountain bikes and touring bikes and regularly stop to have a chat along the way, there are also Olympic athletes and world champions. The tour starts at the ROSE BIKETOWN store in Bocholt, Germany.
You can even do some good without participating in the tour, as we donate 100% of the net proceeds (turnover excl. VAT) from the sale of the jerseys!
What is cystic fibrosis?
Cystic fibrosis is an incurable inherited disease. A genetic defect causes a metabolic disorder. All body secretions are transformed into a thick mucus, which clogs the lungs or the pancreas. People affected with this disease often have difficulties breathing. We would like to support the German Cystic Fibrosis Association in their research of this disease to make it curable one day.
Join us in our aim – a little donation can change a lot!
