Reverse Base Pedal

Grip it and rip it! With the Base Pedal, Reverse has launched a high-grip, indestructible platform pedal that should appeal especially to mountain bikers in the Gravity segment and shines with well thought-out, details. Reverse is breaking new ground in bearing technology: For the first time, the specially developed Baurilium sleeve bearings are being used for the Base Pedal, which promises a particularly resilient and low-maintenance bearing. Instead of plastic or ceramic, the Black Forest company relies on a special metal alloy with micropores, which is supposed to guarantee permanently good sliding and lubricating properties.

All elements of the pedal body were put to the test. The slightly concave profile of the already very wide platform will have you feeling even more firm in the pedal. Together with the 16 steel long pins going through each pedal, the shoe sole remains securely anchored to the pedal even on wild descents. The shape of the pedal body is also designed to better deflect impacts and thus make it more difficult to get stuck on roots or stones. A pedal you can rely on in any situation.
