The lightweight, resilient frame, made from triple butted aluminium, is your ticket to the next adventure movie, and thanks to the lighting set, luggage rack, and fenders, it is fully prepared for a life full of long-distance tours. The many attachment points are great for your individual bike-packing setup, while also expanding the range of uses – a bike to suit your taste. A great addition is the GRX group from Shimano, as it was especially designed for gravel and made to be reliable, functionally precise, and easy to handle. A heavily-loaded bike simply must have strong brakes and SHIMANO’s GRX disc brakes provide that much-needed safety. Good vision, even in the dark, is provided by the Lumotex IQ-X headlight from B + M-, with 100 lux and a day-time light, while the ERGON SMC40 Sport Gel saddle keeps you comfortable for miles and miles.

Tolles Fahrrad, fahre damit schnell durch die Stadt. Um konstant die hohe Geschwindigkeit zu halten, wäre eine größere Übersetzung (größeres Kettenrad vorne) hilfreich.

Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass darauf hingewiesen wird, dass das Fahrrad ohne Ständer ausgeliefert wurde und man sich doch noch einen aussuchen sollte. Gleiches gilt f eine Klingel. Ganz wichtig: ich wollte mir im Nachhinein einen gefederten Vorbau anbauen, was aber de facto unmöglich ist, da der verbaute Vorbau innenliegende Bowdenzüge hat - an sich hervorragend, aber auch wäre ein Hinweis dringend angebracht. Sonst fährt es sich sehr gut und ich bin glücklich m d Fahrrad.

Das Warten hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Tolles Rad in gewohnter Rosequalität. Absolut stimmig. Ich benutze es hauptsächlich zum Pendeln auf die Arbeit und für Besorgungsfahrten. Zum Graveln hab ich noch die Carbonvariante. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung von mir…

Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Rad mit stimmiger Ausstattung. Nicht gut finde ich den Vorbau mit der integrierten Leitungsführung - ein Umbau ist extrem aufwändig, der Vorbau ist nicht drehbar und das Teil mit 80 € auch teuer. Und die Länge des Vorbaus ist normalerweise bei einem Rad von der Stange eine wichtige Möglichkeit zur Anpassung!

Das Rose Backroad AL Randonneur ist ein echter Hingucker.
Jedoch
Die montierten Continental Grand Prix Urban sind für Naturbelag ungeeignet.
Grosse Steigungen auf Wald- und Kieswege sind schwierig. Der geringe Vortrieb hat ein Abheben des Vorderrads zur Folge
Die Lackierung ist super empfindlich und führt auch unter normalen Umständen sehr schnell zu unansehnlichen Lackschäden.
Seitens Rose Bikes wurden die Lackschäden als «normal» bezeichnet. Der Mail Support hat mich an einen ortsansässigen Lackierer verwiesen. Ein Lackstift wird aufgrund eigener Qualitätsdefizite nicht angeboten (August 2022). Ein Mitarbeiter vom Münchner Rose Shop hat mir empfohlen, die Farbe selber im Baumarkt zu mixen. Er mache es auch so.
Von dem beworbenen ausgezeichnetem Kundenservice, habe ich nichts bemerkt.
«Bikes build in Germany» soll ein Rose Vorteil sein. Kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.
Die versprochene Eigenschaften «Zuverlässig und robust, mit langlebigen Komponenten und dem Extra an Belastbarkeit» vermisse ich bei Gepäckträger, allgemeine Verarbeitung
Bilanz nach 3 Monaten und ca. 1400 km. Den Anforderungen an ein Gravel-basiertes Reiserad ist das Fahrrad nicht gewachsen.
