SHIMANO’s GRX RX600 gravel groupset is their solution for discovering new, challenging gravel routes, thanks to its high-quality technologies. This gravel bike is equipped with a 1-speed drive system consisting of an 11-42 cassette and a 40 chainring. So you can enjoy 1x11 gears – ideal for getting in the flow while off-roading or riding local trails.

Wider tyres and gravel wheels

Solidly built, versatile ROSE G THIRTY gravel wheels with mid-section rim profile and a wider inner rim width of 25 mm make sure the gravel bike can show its strengths on dirt and gravel tracks. Gravel-specific WTB tyres provide plenty of grip, thanks to larger knobs. They are thus also suitable for speed on difficult grounds.

Gravel handlebars for off-road rides

This gravel handlebar is specially designed for more demanding terrain or trail sections. The ergonomically shaped handlebar has a larger flare for more control and comfort on rougher grounds. With this, you can ride with high speed on difficult terrain, too.

SHIMANO’s GRX RX600 gravel groupset is your companion for discovering new, challenging gravel routes. Equipped with the gravel-specific SHIMANO GRX RX600 as well as a singlespeed drivetrain, versatile and solidly built ROSE G THIRTY gravel wheels wrapped in WTB gravel tyres and with a gravel handlebar suitable for off-road use, this bike has everything you need to master difficult trails. This gravel bike is ideal for off-road tours that require a wide range of gears.
More long distance – Endurance
Flex is fun – massive comfort in the saddle and a gravity-specific frame fork geometry offers perfect handling on road, gravel and technical terrain. Only a dry throat can stop you.

More off-road – Action
The frame and fork now allow for a tyre width of up to 45 mm with 700c and up to 47 mm with 650b wheels. For rougher road conditions, perfectly adapted protectors at the down tube and chainstays shield from stone chips.

More experience – Adventure
Moreover, the BACKROAD has several mounting points for bottle cages, AnythingCages or bags for the ultimate versatility.

After ten years riding MTB XC i decided to try gravel bike. I've chosen Backroad GRX 600 1x11 having a lot of doubts. But after 3 trips for about 200km I can say this is the love from the first sight. 1x11 is enough for riding 30-35km/h on a flat asphalt roads and good enough to climb at 10-15% heights sitting on the saddle. Breaks are little weaker than my MTB SLX but for those bike are completely sufficient and good working even without the servo. Bike is light and sportive with comfortable posision. All the details are made with perfection. It is a pure pleasure to ride that German Princess Rose. I am not disappointed and I highly recommend it.

Top quality gravel bike!! If you struggle with the size and you are middle of two different frame size I recommend you to choose the bigger rather than the smaller frame size due to the geometry of the bike which is relatively short.

Die Seilzugspannung war „ab Werk“ schlecht eingestellt. Beim runterschalten gingen die Gänge sporadisch nicht rein. Der Sattel ermöglicht eine minimale Sitzhöhe von 72 cm. Das entspricht der angegebenen Schrittlänge von ca. 82 cm. Tiefer geht nicht! Im Rahmen innenliegende Öffnungen sind mit kleinen Gummipfopfen abgedeckt, die beim Entfernen der Schutzfolien rausfallen (und ggf schnell ungesehen im Müll verschwinden). Die Reifen sind eher für Schotter als für Asphalt - nicht mit einem Rennrad zu vergleichen! Die Schaltung / Übersetzung ermöglicht problemlos das Hochfahren, beim Runterfahren ist dann eher „rollen lassen“ angesagt. ALLES andere ist einfach der positive Wahnsinn! Und dass das Bike nach genau 7,5 Tagen bereits da war ist natürlich der Hammer!

Das Backroad ist ein echt tolles Fahrrad.
Die Gänge waren sehr schlecht eingestellt, ist bei mir vielleicht nicht so das Problem aber bei Leuten die das nicht können.

Geometrie und Rahmen sind TOP, sehr schön verarbeitet und fühlt sich sehr wertig an. Schaltung (1x11) jedoch ist sehr mühsam einzustellen, war bei der Auslieferung komplett verstellt, die Kette ging an beiden Seiten über die Kranzgrenze, sehr raue und grobe Schaltung, habe Stunden gebraucht bis ich sie halbwegs eingestellt habe. Bin immer noch am überlegen das Bike retour zu senden und mir das 2x11 zu bestellen.
