Backroad LIMITED – this edition brings it to the point. The ultra-clean carbon frame was pimped with a special paint job – true eye candy in a limited quantity. What has remained the same are the outstanding gravel genes of the Backroad family, such as nimble ride qualities, high comfort and great versatility. The ROSE Square stem emphasizes the uncompromising design DNA of the Backroad. Internally routed brake and gear cables give the cockpit even more elegance and skills. Deep asymmetric chainstays and an asymmetric seat tube offer high torsional stiffness in the crankset area, resulting in very high efficiency. A seat post with D-shape ensures a high level of riding comfort by allowing for different flex levels and riding positions. With the GRX RX810 Di2 by Shimano, you don’t just shift electronically, yet also on a completely unique gravel level. The extremely thought-out groupset comes perfectly optimised gearing options and ergonomics. Even more comfort is added by ROSE GC FORTY Disc wheels that make you move nimbly over tarmac, gravel and off the road – even in rough conditions. Grind unpaved!

Das ist ein richtig gutes Rad.
Ich weiß nicht, was jetzt wirklich heraussticht, es stimmt eigentlich alles.
Alles passt.
Die Di2 möchte ich nicht mehr missen, das Gewicht des Rades ist phänomenal, es ist so leicht, dass man es nicht nur gern fährt, sondern auch gern trägt.
Die Lackierung passt wie die Faust aufs Auge. Das Rad dieses Levels sollte auch genauso in der Sonne glänzen.
Die Fahreigenschaften sind bombastisch. Das Rad ist schnell und rollt bombastisch gut.
Absolut nichts zu bemängeln.
Doch. Einen Punkt gibt es allerdings. Hat aber nichts mit dem Rad selbst zu tun.
Hier auf der Seite sieht man nicht, wie gut die Lackierung ist und wie schön das Rad in Wirklichkeit ist.

Ein absolut tolles Gravelrad ! Der Lack sieht in der Sonne einfach überragend aus. Es fährt sich extrem toll und macht wirklich Spaß.
Die Umrüstung auf Tubeless war absolut Problemlos und der Reifen wurde sogar mit normaler Standpumpe sofort dicht.
Das einzig negative sind kleine Gummistopfen die ungenutzte Gewinde verschließen wo mir direkt einer verloren gegangen ist und die Schrauben für den Flaschenhalter die gerne auch schwarz hätten sein dürfen.

Super, bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Fahrrad .Service in der Filiale köln Top…Sehr gut beraten sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter der sich wirklich viel Zeit genommen hat bei der Bike Übergabe.
Fahrrad wegen der Größe umgetauscht
war mir zu klein geraten auch ohne Probleme abgewickelt.

Great bike, fast delivery 4 days upon order. The bike is of great quality and equipped with top of the range components. The handlebar (Ritchey WCS Carbon Venturemax) is shaped somewhat different than a conventional road bike, it’s more comfortable.
I opted for a large 62cm frame (same as my Canyon), despite Rose’s proposed guidance for the smaller 59cm. Fits perfectly well.
The highlighted colour feature (midnight laser grey) was not a reason to pay a premium for the “limited edition”, but rather it was the only model available in store (ironic for a “limited edition”).
What could be better:
I would have preferred a 2x11 (on the road the 1x11 is quickly maxed out).
ROSE did not include any tools (in contrast to Canyon), neither a proper assembly instruction (though this is available online). At least some basic bike knowledge and tools are needed to assemble the Backroad.

Ein Traum!
Wunderbares Rad. Sehr agiles Fahrverhalten. Es macht sehr viel Freude damit unterwegs zu sein.
Kleinere Störfaktoren:
Beim Bremsen aus hoher Geschwindigkeit fängt die Vorderbremsen an zu „stottern“. Vorsichtig ist angesagt. Evtl ist die 180mm Bremsscheibe zu groß?
Schön wäre eine Auslieferung als Tubeless gewesen.

Zuerst das Negative: Die Sattelstütze ist für nen 53er Rahmen viel zu lang. Da ich selbst kein Carbon sägen möchte, muss die Stütze also wieder zu Rose eingeschickt werden.
Das Positive: der Rest. Der Rahmen ist perfekt. Das Fahrverhalten sollte nicht anders sein, als beim Vorgänger (ich habe es in deepest purple). Die Lackierung im Sonnenschein ist voll Disco; und das Rad ist ohne einen Kratzer aus dem Karton gekommen.
Lenker und Vorbau wirken moderner als das 2020 er Modell (allerdings „non limited“, was aber auch klassisch schön ist). Und mal wieder ein Lob an den schnellen Rose Versand Service.
