Sorgt für einen sauberen Rahmen ohne Kettenspuren und schützt den Lack gut vor Schlägen der Kette. Außerdem sieht es bei so ziemlich jedem Fahrrad gut aus. Allerdings geht der Dreck dort nicht so gut runter, wie auf dem Rahmen, aber das kann die waschmaschine ja wahrscheinlich schnell erledigen. Wenn Schmierfett durch Schläge der Kette auf den Schutz gerät, dann sieht man diesen nicht.
