If you are exactly between two sizes, you'll have the choice: Choose the smaller frame if you prefer a "racing position" and the bigger frame if you prefer a more comfortable "touring position".

Description

Here comes the electrified trail rocker – here comes the ELEC TEC! Nothing is like it used to be, from now on, an exciting facet is added to mountain biking. The elegant, integrated Continental drive is hidden in a high-quality frame made from 7005 aluminium. This bike wants to be a trail bike and that’s why, we have given it a Rock Shox Yari RC suspension fork with generous 130 mm of travel. A 15 mm thru axle adds stiffness, the fork leaves enough space to ride 29” or 27,5” wheels – you have got the choice! The casual Sunringlé Duroc 40 wheelset features Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo Snakeskin Apex with wide 2,8 inch plus size. Drivetrain and brake come from SRAM, the SRAM EX1 provides crisp gear changes. The entire system is stopped reliably by a SRAM Guide RE, which has got 200 and 180 mm discs. The ideally integrated Rock Shox Reverb Stealth Dropper post guarantees outstanding riding dynamics. The ELEC TEC will turn your world upside down!

Die ersten 1000km haben Rad und Fahrer hinter sich. Ein Traumrad, nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten: Die Endspedition lieferte das Rad erst nach längerer telephonischer Diskussion aus, beim Neurad hatte die Leitung der versenkbaren Sattelstütze Kontakt zum Kurbelarm, die Casette war nicht fest mit der Hinterradnabe verschraubt und während den ersten 300km knartze die Schaltung auf den mittleren Gängen 4 und 5 laut und unangenehm. Nach Kettenwechsel und diversen Schmiermitteltests läuft das Pedelec jetzt problemlos, dank hervorragender Laufräder und eines komplett entkoppelten Antriebs auf Stufe 0,sowohl im Gelände wie auch auf Asphalt. Die maximale Reichweite des 618Ah Akkus konnte ich auch bereits austesten: Nach 101km und ca. 1000 Höhenmetern schaltete der Akku automatisch in die 0 Stufe und ich pedalierte die letzten 10km mit reiner Muskelkraft nach Hause, was bei dem Rad, trotz seines hohen Gewichtes gut möglich ist.
