I have the same issue as previous reviewer; the tiny bolt connecting the two pieces dropped from the threaded part in the metal piece making the shifter useless.

The shifters performed very well for the first 3 months with precise shifts although you had to go up and down gears one at a time. There was no option to jump 2 or 3 gears at once like the rapid fire shifters I had been used to previously which was a little bit annoying. The big problem came after 3 months of non-competitive normal use on my daily commute when the shift levers just jammed. This was eventually found to be due to what I would call a design fault. The black shift mechanism is connected to a silver arm by a central hex key bolt as you can see in the picture above, but to stop the black shift mechanism rotating around the silver bit when you press the shifter, there is a tiny internal screw connecting the black shift mechanism to the silver arm about a cm from the centre. After 3 months, this had worked itself loose and dropped into the shifter mechanism jamming all the shifts, not only that, the hole that the screw passed through to go into the silver arm had widened and there was too much play in the joint which made it work loose faster and rendered the shifters unusable.
I intend to send these back and replace them with something totally different. Sad really as while they worked, they were very precise.
