Bicycle pedals like the SQlab 521 allow for a natural foot position and good power transfer, as the axle length is adapted to the respective shoe size and foot position. While the ergonomics play an important role when choosing a frame size or saddle, the physiologically natural foot position is often left out of consideration during the bike setup. A narrow sit bone distance and small feet place other requirements on the pedal position than feet that form a V. The adapted axle length prevents one-sided loads, as the distance between pedal crank and platform can be used variably. Thus, you can put the power onto the pedals and your feet into the right position. For more information on the different sizes between S and XL, see the respective chart.
Apart from the Q-factor optimization thanks to the adapted axle length, the pedal offesr an anti-slip rubber insert on the aluminium pedal body to make it perfectly suitable for touring and commuting.
