VAUDE products with ECO FINISH are water-repellent and what's more, they are produced in an environmentally friendly way without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFC belong to a group of chemical connections that are used to impregnate the outer fabric of a product.
The second generation of the QUICK MOUNT RELEASE hook: even more user-friendly and directly lockable at the hook (via ABUS 145/20 lock, item no. 2269013). The QMR hooks can be adapted with the included adapter to fit different tube diameters (8-16mm). Simply fit the respective adapter into the QMR hook of your bag, position the hooks with the horizontal dial if need be and hook the bag onto the carrier with a simple click. An additional hook on an elliptical ring allows for an individual adjustment to the vertical line of the carrier.
This product is climate-neutral: the emissions from materials, manufacturing process and shipping were systematically reduced and completely compensated.
The VAUDE seal means that this product is completely made without PVC (polyvinyl chloride). Looks like truck tarpaulin and is as durable and waterproof, yet made from polyurethane coated textile fabric instead of PVC. PVC often contains softeners (phthalates) that are suspected of being harmful.
