The very long history of the successful Rubino road bike tyre by Vittoria is characterised by consequent further development and facelifts – and with the Rubino G2.0, the clincher version of the popular all-round folding tyre from Italy also goes into the next generation.
Designed for versatile weather and road conditions, the tyre offers outstanding riding characteristics for daily training and competitive ambitions.
The current version comes with an improved rubber compound called GRAPHENE 2.0. In combination with the proven 3C layering process where three separate rubber compounds are used for the centre tread, the Rubino G2.0 particularly sets new standards in comfort, rolling resistance, grip and wear resistance. In addition, the tyre offers excellent puncture resistance through a thin layer of densely woven aramid fibres which provide good protection from splinters, thorns and glass.

Graphene interacts with rubber by filling the space in between the rubber molecules. This is to increase all positive performance metrics of a tyre. Unlike the first-generation GRAPHENE, the new 2.0 GRAPHENE is intended to enhance tyre performance. In other words: The first generation of GRAPHENE compounds has already set the bar high, GRAPHENE 2.0 however takes the performance of Vittoria tyres to a whole new level. The Italian manufacturer is now able to process graphene in a way that leads to increased performance, especially with regards to speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance.
