Garmin Rally™ RS210 Dual-Sensing Power Meter Pedals for SHIMANO SPD-SL

The GARMIN Rally™ wattmeter pedal system makes watt-based power measurement more flexible and straightforward than ever. In contrast to their predecessor, the RS210 now come with built-in, rechargeable batteries that make battery changes unnecessary and offer up to 90 hours of ride time per charge. Forgot to charge? – No problem, the quick-charging function gives you up to 12 hours of ride time with just 15 minutes of charging. You can also set the pedals to travel mode to conserve battery during transport. In addition, the RS210 now offer the smart Pedal IQ function, which reminds you to recalibrate the pedals in case of strong temperature fluctuations or changes in the installation angle. There is also good news for users of oval chainrings: These are now also compatible with the Rally RS210 pedals.

What has remained is the high degree of flexibility that allows you to customise the Rally pedals to your needs. Whether Road, Gravel or MTB: with three available Rally™ platforms for LOOK KéO, SHIMANO SPD-SL or SHIMANO SPD, every ambitious cyclist can now find the right powermeter pedal for them. You decide with which platform and cleats you want to ride. Switching between road and XC pedal bodies, for example, is quick and easy and can be done with just one hex wrench. So you can use different clipless pedal systems on different bikes with only one pair of axles and benefit from all measurement and analysis functions that the GARMIN Ecosystem has to offer, both onroad and offroad.

As with its predecessor, GARMIN has once again opted for a user-friendly “Plug & Play” concept: Simply screw the pedals onto the crank arms, pair them via ANT+ or Bluetooth with your compatible bike computer or GARMIN Connect™ on your smartphone, enter the crank length and after a short calibration you are ready to go. The measurement takes place directly at the pedal spindle – several hundred times per second.

The pedal bodies already attached to the GARMIN Rally™ RS210 are based on the SHIMANO SPD-SL platform and can be used with the matching cleats from GARMIN or SHIMANO on bike shoes with a 3-bolt standard. In contrast to the RS110 (prod. code: 1617170001), sensors for watt measurement are installed on both pedal spindles in order to be able to evaluate the pedalling power for the left and right pedals independently of each other. This gives you access to the full range of functions of the GARMIN Cycling Dynamics – in addition to power and cadence values, this also includes detailed analyses of the left and right wattage distribution, your power zones over the course of the crank revolution, sitting and standing phases as well as where power is applied along the pedal spindle.
