Maxxis MetroPass AT MAXXPROTECT EXO TR 4 Season City/Tour Clincher Tyre

The MAXXIS MetroPass AT is a versatile touring and urban tyre for modern hybrid and E-SUV bikes. The tread pattern features large centre knobs and slotted side knobs to combine efficient rolling performance on asphalt with additional control on gravel, dirt and unpaved roads.

The construction combines technologies from the urban and mountain bike sector and is designed for comfort and safe riding behaviour on changing surfaces. Reflective strips on the sidewalls improve your visibility in road traffic.

Thanks to its all-terrain design, the MetroPass AT is suitable for everyday use as well as for tours on and off paved paths.


Technologies:

• MaxxProtect EXO
MaxxProtect EXO combines a 3 mm thick special rubber protective layer under the tread with the EXO sidewall protection from MAXXIS, which is familiar from the MTB sector. The construction is designed for increased puncture protection and specially adapted to the requirements and dangers of urban use.

• 4 Season Compound
The 4 Season Compound is a rubber compound from MAXXIS for year-round use. MAXXIS uses experience from the all-season car tyre sector to develop a compound for bicycle tyres that is designed for changing weather conditions such as rain and slush.

• TUBELESS READY [TR]
In the MAXXIS range, Tubeless Ready [TR] refers to tyres with a construction that is designed for tubeless use with a sealant, a compatible tubeless rim or matching rim tape. The system enables lower air pressures and is intended to improve traction and ride quality, while reducing the rolling resistance. In addition, minor damages can be sealed directly by the sealant, which reduces the risk of breakdowns.
