The Campy Tech Lab designers focused on functionality, speed, precision and maximum performance when redesigning the Record 12s™ braze-on front derailleur and gave it the same technical characteristics as its big brother of the Super Record 12s™ series. Especially designed to perfectly work with their own mechanical 12-speed road groups, the significantly smaller cage allows for more chain crossovers and offers increased tyre clearance for up to 32 mm wide tyres at that. . Thanks to an optimized lever with an additional joint, Campagnolo managed to further reduce the shifting forces for the Record 12s™ front derailleur and to allow for faster shifting.
