A further development of the Top Contact Winter II. The Premium version of the tyre features a Vectran Breaker and a foldable bead. This significantly reduces weight and rolling resistance. The proven siped tread and the rubber compound known from the car industry provide sufficient grip in snow and on cold and wet surfaces.

Extremely effective. During a recent wintery mix in Berlin it was very stable on the pavement as other people were slipping around. Its not going to take you through snowbanks but it will cut through slush and keep stable on freezing rain like you're on dry bike paths. There is no doubt this is the tire I will always have ready for winter, always

Ein echter Winterreifen wie ihn die meisten vom PKW kennen. Genau dass, was es für unsere "Winter" in NRW braucht. Haftet auch sicher auf schneeglatter Strasse.

Mein Setup: Vorne Marathon Winter Plus mit Spikes (47 mm); hinten Top Contakt Winter (55 mm). Nach ca. 120 km bei Winterwetter zieht es mich mit meinem Rad auf die verschneiten Flächen. Auch Eis ist sicher befahrbar. Vorläufiges Fazit: Sehr geiler Reifen. Rollt viel leichter als ein Spikesreifen und ist dennoch gut beherrschbar auch bei schwierigem Untergrund.

Es mag Menschen geben, die Winterreifen für das Fahrrad (für den Preis eines Kleinwagenreifens) für unnötig halten.
Da ich aber auf das Fahrrad angewiesen bin und auch im Winter lieber damit als mit dem Auto fahre, war ich auf der Suche nach einem Reifen mit grobem, tiefen Profil und weicher Gummimischung.

Inzwischen sind diese Reifen schon das dritte Jahr montiert und machen ihren Job hervorragend. Bei nassen Blättern und Eis können sie keine Wunder vollbringen, aber abseits von Spikes halte ich sie für das Optimum.

Ich vergebe aufgrund des Preises nur 4 Sterne.

Leider sind beide Reifen kaputt gegangen, und zwar hat sich die Seele aus den Reifen gelöst.
Gefahren haben sich die Winter contakt sehr gut der Rollwiederstand ist auch sehr gut.
Continental hat sich zur Reklamation überhaupt nicht geäußert 🤬
Trotzdem gebe ich 3 Sterne, da der Service von Rose top ist

Sehr gute Haftung, guter Gripp, hält sehr gut die Spur bei diversen Untergründen. Etwas höherer Rollwiederstand als ‚normale‘ Reifen. Kaufempfehlung für die Wintermonate

Super Reifen. Nur schade, dass es Conti, bei dem Preis, nicht schafft die Gummireste von der Herstellung zu entfernen. Ich hatte die Hoffnung, dass diese sich schnell abfahren. Nachdem ich permanent Laub und Eicheln zwischen Reifen und Schutzblech aufgesammelt hatte, habe ich sie in mühevoller zeitraubender Fummelei entfernt.
