M-Wave Trail Rope Junior Tow Rope with Stretch Function

Whenever small cyclists run out of breath on the bike, the Trail Rope Junior tow rope can provide helpful support for the little ones. Stowed in the pocket on the frame, it is quickly at hand to help when needed. On longer distances and on climbs, young riders often lack the strength and endurance to go the whole way on their own.

With the elastic tow rope by M-Wave, long climbs and an endless way home lose their threat when a powerful (e-)bike rides ahead. The towing and towed bike are securely connected with M-Wave's tear-proof strap. With its 3-part construction, the tow rope can be attached in no time at all. The two loop straps are simply fixed to the saddle, seat post or seat tube of the towing bike and to the handlebar, stem or head tube of the towed bike. As an alternative, the matching M-Wave hip belt can be used (prod. code 2336022).

Fastening and unfastening the connecting elastic strap is done with a flick of the wrist, thanks to the self-locking carabiners. This means that the tow rope can also be released quickly in case of a riding mistake or a fall. To ensure that the tow rope remains tensioned when starting and when changing speed, two central fabric-covered elastic straps buffer the tensile forces. Use only for the specified purpose. Towing with a tow rope requires riding skills and a great deal of attention. Therefore, it only has a limited suitability for use in road traffic. Before attaching the tow rope, make sure to check the bike manufacturer’s approval that the bike is suitable for towing loads or being towed. This applies in particular to lightweight aluminium and carbon frames.
The handling of the towing and towed bike is negatively affected by the towing process. The total towing capacity must be observed. For the towing procedure, the safety instructions in the manual and the road traffic regulations must be observed.
