Motorex Chain Wax

As less dirt sticks to a waxed chain, treatment with Motorex Chainwax improves the gliding properties and has a positive effect on wear. Thanks to the specially developed formula, the chain wax penetrates into the spaces between the chain links and forms a solid wax film on the surfaces. Any dirt that does accumulate can be easily removed with a dry brush. No more oily chains and greasy clumps!

The dry lubricant is very easy to use: After thoroughly cleaning, degreasing and drying the drive unit (cassette, pulley wheels, chain, chainring), apply Motorex Chainwax to each individual chain link and leave to work for a few hours. Remove excess chain wax with a lint-free cloth. To allow the lubricant to dry and solidify optimally, the drivetrain should not be used for several hours (preferably overnight). The chain can be re-waxed several times afterwards without basic cleaning.

Tip:
Before waxing, the drive components can be optimally cleaned of grease, oil and resin using Motorex Chain Degreaser (prod. code 232887001).
As a supplement, we recommend the Motorex Bike Protect spray to seal the surfaces of the frame and components against dust and dirt (prod. code 233347301).
