The ORTLIEB VARIO backpack bike bag in the PLUS version with 26 litres leaves it up to you to decide whether you want to use it as a backpack or a pannier – or both.
The system: The comfortable back carrying system is located on one side of the bag, while the flat elements of the QUICK-LOCK2.2 rack holder are located on the other. The practical flap can be easily hooked onto the sides of the bag and covers one of the two fronts as required – a clever combination of design and practicality! The IP64-rated waterproof and dustproof bike bag made from a CORDURA fabric mix is equipped with a spacious main compartment including a laptop compartment, making it particularly useful for everyday work.

QUICK-LOCK2.2:
The bicycle bag mounting system QL2.2 is based on the proven QL2.1 system, but is even more flexible in crucial spots when it comes to adapting to the wide variety of luggage racks.
• Comfortable single-handed operation
• The Quick-Lock hooks with anti-scratch function can be adapted to different tube diameters from 10 – 16mm
• For optimal stability the upper hook rail comes in a single-piece design, yet it can be adjusted to fit the either side of the rack on Office-Bag and Downtown models
• A special tightening technique allows the use of particularly flat nut washers on the inside. This makes it almost flat and protects the goods being transported
• The lower hook rail consists of a two-component plastic with anti-scratch function. The contact surfaces are soft to reduce rubbing against the rack tube. The lower hook rail is rotatable in 15-degree steps and adjustable in height.
• All hooks may be adjusted without tools and replaced within seconds
• The upper rail is compatible with optional theft protection systems
CORDURA:
Polyamide fibres guarantee high robustness and abrasion resistance. A brushed surface gives the material a pleasant grip. The fabric is fast-drying and extremely hard-wearing.
