The IR-1.3 mounting set from Park Tool simplifies the installation of internally routed cables for electronic shifting, outer covers for shift and break cables and hydraulic brake hoses in the frame of your bike.
The set includes five mounting cables with four specific connector mounts and a screw-in adapter. In addition, each cable has a magnetic end that you can pull through the frame using the included guide magnet. The mounting cable then serves as a guide for the electrical cables, outer covers or hydraulic brake hoses attached to it.
As a supplement to the IR-1.2, this set comes with an additional mounting cable designed exclusively for the connectors of the thinner SHIMANO Di2 EW-SD300 cables. Mounting cables with connector mounts for electrical cables from all common shifting manufacturers are also included. A double-sided screw-in adapter has also been added, allowing you to connect the ends of two hydraulic brake hoses or outer casings. Cables or outer covers that are already installed but need to be replaced can be changed easily.
