The right riding position: ergotec bicycle parts
The company ergotec was founded in the town Wickede in North-Rhine Westphalia in 1918. Since 1998, the growing company has been managed by Willi Humpert in the fourth generation. Improved pedalling performance. With its large, ergonomically shaped surface, the EP-1 pedal hugs the sole of your feet and ensures thus optimum power transmission. With conventional pedals, the foot only rests on specific points of the pedal and gets distorted in the longitudinal direction because of the pedal's short surface. However, with its large contact surface the EP-1 gives full support to the sole of the foot. This prevents troubles like numbness or pain in the feet. The foot finds its ideal position on the large, anatomically shaped non-slip surface. The inner guide rails ensure a perfect positioning and avoid contact between foot and crank. The use of a short axle reduces the Q factor. This means that the "foot-knee-hip" joint sequence is aligned correctly with the axle. You will notice the gain in efficiency and comfort immediately. • plastic pedal body, CroMo axle • non-slip support surface with diamond profile • can be ridden on both sides • weight: approx. 364 g • 1 pair • manufacturer's ref.: 86060001
