DIESEN SCHROTT KEINESFALLS KAUFEN!
Das Teil ist eine 100%ige Fehlkonstruktion. Den Stempel, der beim Abziehen auf der Achse aufliegt, kann man nicht in den Gewindeteil versenken, sondern er steht etwa 4 mm über. Das führt dazu, dass das Gewinde maximal halb in die Kurbel eingeschraubt werden kann und Ausreißen vorprogrammiert ist. Wenn man den Abzieher also bis auf Anschlag eindreht, geht man irgendwie davon aus, dass der Kraftschluss ausreichend ist - bei einer länger nicht abgezogenen Kurbel ist das aber nicht der Fall; Fazit; Gewinde ausgerissen. Mit einem Shimano-Abzieher konnte auch mit dem Restgewinde noch abgezogen werden, vermutlich ist auch das Gewinde am Werkzeug nicht maßhaltig.
Eigentlich sollte man Rose im Sinne der Produkthaftung für die zerstörte Kurbel in die Plicht nehmen.

This is well made and does the job, but it's not clear that the large pushing pad is removeable. For a day I thought I wouldn't be able to use this tool as the pad was too large to extract a square taper. I eventually realised that it's possible to pull off the pad with pliers and then it worked fine. I suspect that other reviewers who damaged their bikes left the pad on.

Auflagefläche von dem Abzieher (mit und ohne schwarzen Clips) ist so groß, dass sie nicht durch das Schraubenloch der Kurbel (Schimano Nexus Vierkant) geht. Wenn man das nicht bemerkt reißt man leider das Gewinde der Kurbel raus. )-: !!

Auf beiden Seiten hat es mir das Gewinde rausgerissen, statt die Kurbel zu demontieren. Bin gelernter Mechaniker und habe mit vorher Videos angeschaut wie das Werkzeug zu benutzen ist. Jetzt habe ich eine defekte Kurbel, kann auf einen Werkstatt-Termin warten und habe natürlich auch die Kosten für diesen.
