Wherever you are – the Ergotec M-Bar Sport Flatbar offers you comfort on cross-country tours, too. The slightly curved shape reduces the strain on your wrists and forearms and allows for a relaxed riding position. With the comfortable width of the handlebar, you can steer your HOBO precisely where you want to go.
Proven shifting performance on all paths
The DEORE RD-M5120 10-speed rear derailleur ensures a solid and smooth shifting performance for fast and easy gear shifts. This way, you can adapt to different terrain conditions without problems. The components of the groupset are hard-wearing and durable.
Relaxed riding on any path
This HOBO rolls on robust, lightweight ROSE G TWENTYFIVE 650B gravel wheels. With their wider inner rim width of 25 mm, they increase the contact area of the 47 mm wide WTB gravel tyre and thus provide more grip and more fun, even during off-road use. On these tyres, the HOBO will take you anywhere.
Naked or pimped?
The HOBO comes with a naked steel frame. If you want it fully equipped, you can pimp it with the matching HOBO Rack, the HOBO Rack Bag and the HOBO Straps. In addition, you can equip your HOBO with the matching mudguard set and the HOBO lighting system.

Tolles Rad, schön leicht und wendig, ideal für die Stadt. Was etwas ärgerlich war, dass der Ständer sich nach 2 Wochen gelöst hat. Ansonsten Top zufrieden.

Habe mich für das Rad entschieden, da ich ich etwas gesucht habe, das ich sowohl für Fahrten in die Arbeit als auch entspannte Feierabendrunde im Wald etc nutzen kann und kein klassisches Gravelbike wollte. Nach der Probefahrt im Store war ich sofort vom Handling und der Beschleunigung begeistert.
Fazit nach knapp einem Jahr im Einsatz:
Der Fahrspaß ist immer noch unverändert, bzgl. Mancher Komponenten besteht noch Verbesserungdbedarf. Der Lenker ist ein wenig zu breit, sodass man gerne mal an der einen oder anderen Ecke hängen bleibt. Das größte Manko ist tatsächlich der Sattel. Man gewöhnt sich zwar nach einiger Zeit daran, dass er ziemlich hart und unbequem ist. Allerdings ist er auch qualitativ nicht sehr gut. Bei mir haben sich nach kurzer Zeit bereits hässliche Falten im Leder gezeigt und die Farbe ist von den Nieten abgeplatzt.
Ich kann jedem auch nur Empfehlen, dass er ab und zu unter die Plastikkappen bei den Schraublöchern für die Befestigung der Schutzbleche schaut. Ich habe die Schutzbleche erst jetzt montiert und dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass dort Flugrost haftet, obwohl das Rad bisher nur im trockenen gefahren und gelagert wurde.

Ich bin fast vollkommen begeistert. Es fährt sich super, es ist für ein Stahlrad sehr leicht. Die Farbe Pine Green ist Mega! Die Kombination mit dem Frontrack in gelb ist ein Traum. Mit dem Hoborucksack in Sand.. ein absolut stimmiges Gesamtbild. Einziges und leider deutliches Manko: der Sattel ist eine Qual. Hart unbequem und beim freihändigfahren rutsche ich runter .. habe jetzt einen passgenauen SQ Lab für meinen Hintern montiert.
Die cleane Optil dieses Gerätes ist einfach ein Traum. Daher trotz des deutlichen Sattel Mankos alle 5 Sterne.

Am 3. November 2023 kaufte ich ein Hobo-Fahrrad, einen Gepäckträger, einen Gepäckgurt und Schutzbleche.
Das Paket mit dem Fahrrad kam recht schnell an, das Fahrrad ist super, sehr präzise gefertigt und entsprach meinen Erwartungen.
Ich habe keine Einwände gegen das Fahrrad. Den Rest der Bestellung zu erhalten, ist jedoch eine Tortur.
Obwohl 78 Tage vergangen sind, wurde das Paket nicht zugestellt. Es sieht so aus, als müsste Rose an seiner Logistikabteilung arbeiten und an der Art und Weise, wie sie die Auftragslieferung steuert. Das Paket wurde mir offenbar zweimal zugesandt, einmal wurde die Adresse falsch eingegeben, beim zweiten Versuch erschien der Kurier nie bei mir zu Hause, obwohl ich die ganze Zeit dort war. Das Paket wurde am 22. Dezember 2023 an den Absender zurückgeschickt. Nach der zweiten fehlgeschlagenen Zustellung habe ich um Stornierung dieses Teils der Bestellung und die Übernahme der entstandenen Kosten gebeten. Ich habe Rose kontaktiert und eine Nachricht erhalten, dass das Paket nach weiteren 26 Tagen immer noch nicht bei ihnen angekommen ist ... und sie mein Geld nicht zurückerstatten können ... wie kann es sein, dass der Transport von 800 km so lange dauert?
