The LOCKMAXX FL 95-HD by ROSE is a very special folding lock. Although the long lock links take up only little space on the frame when folded, they impress with an enormous radius when securing objects. A lock length of just under one metre offers flexible securing options for your bike, including lanterns.
The fact that a high level of theft protection inevitably requires the use of more material is reflected in the solid construction of the folding lock. ROSE's folding lock is therefore primarily recommended for all bikes where the extra weight in favour of higher theft protection does not restrict the riding enjoyment, such as city bikes and e-bikes. Despite the robust design made of hardened steel, the slim links can be easily pulled apart thanks to the smooth-running joint construction and easily pushed through in a horizontal position.
To avoid fumbling around with the lock, the last link slides almost automatically into the side of the lock head. When opened with the key, the spring-loaded round bar springs out of the guide, which makes handling much easier. When inserting it again, it is locked centrally with a locking bolt by turning the key, in order to prevent attempts to break it open.
FL 95-HD is well stored in the frame bracket and always ready at hand on tours. It can be flexibly attached to the frame with the rubberised retaining straps or screwed to the bottle cage mount. In the latter, the side opening facilitates removal when there is little space in the small frame triangle. The ROSE folding lock can be removed out of the bracket from the side just as quickly as it can be inserted. A fastening strap secures the lock during transport.
