The Hybrid Jkt Grimaldo M by Schöffel is a warm, softshell jacket for Gravel that helps you brave the cold and adverse weather.

Schöffel trusts the 4D BODYMAPPING process, using a material mix that is optimally adapted to the requirements of biking. The jacket has a windproof front that protects your body from cooling down, while the back and the underarms are very breathable. And thanks to its VENTURI SOFT SHELL material, the bike jacket is not only windproof but also waterproof and keeps the elements at bay. Plus, the STRETCH fabric ensures optimal freedom of movement and AIRMEM S.CAFÉ technology provides breathability, added weather protection and natural odour control when you're pushing your limits.

AIRMEM S.CAFÉ:
AIRMEM is a lightweight membrane made of 25% coffee oil from recycled coffee grounds. This material combines advanced material technology with more environmentally friendly manufacturing and brings with it the natural odour-inhibiting properties of coffee grounds – for optimal wearing comfort. The membrane is odour-inhibiting, breathable, windproof and water-repellent.

WHAT IS S.CAFÉ:
To make further progress on the subject of sustainability, Schöffel uses the environmentally friendly technology S.CAFÉ: a technical fibre composite made of polyester fibres. Coffee oil is extracted from the waste product coffee grounds, which are produced from coffee beans during conventional coffee brewing. This is then mixed with a granulate, which is basically the spinneret liquid. This gives the polyester improved properties, such as optimised odour neutralisation, faster drying and a natural antibacterial effect. The S.CAFÉ yarn is then created from the spinneret liquid.
This means that the renewable raw material meets the high quality requirements for textile components, and in a natural way.

4D BODYMAPPING:
Bodymapping is a design principle based on body zones, sports, activity levels and weather conditions. Bodymapping garments consist of an ever-changing mix of materials and technologies that retain heat in some areas, optimally release moisture, and combine ideal freedom of movement with outstanding weather protection. Bodymapping offers the added value of staying dry, well protected and efficient in all activities and weather.

STRETCH:
Stretch is an excellent material base for functional, high-quality sportswear. The great properties of this type of fabric optimally support athletes in their performance and ensure an excellent combination of functionality, performance and look.

VENTURI SOFT SHELL:
The VENTURI by Schöffel membrane has a soft feel and lies between the outer and lining fabric. Depending on the model, a 2- or 3-layer laminate is processed and joined with different outer fabrics to match the intended use. The membrane is windproof, waterproof with a water column of at least 10,000 mm as well as breathable with at least 10,000 g /m²/24 h. The coarse and fine molecular bonds of the efficient laminate allow water vapour to escape easily, so that a pleasantly dry and moderate climate constantly prevails.
What’s more, there are modifications of the VENTURI by Schöffel membrane that have been specially developed for different (weather) conditions:
VENTURI SOFT SHELL is very comfortable to wear and offers improved freedom of movement. The robust outer layer is abrasion and weather resistant. A warming mid layer is combined with the outer layer and can be worn in different climatic conditions.
