Highlights & Technologies:

TRANSTEX MERINO: 
Transtex is Löffler's two-layer knitting technology that has proven successful in the market for more than four decades. The material comes with an inner layer made of polypropylene that wicks sweat away from the skin and remains dry itself. This two-layer technology uses merino wool on the outside which is known for its very good thermal insulation and high moisture absorption. The fibres can absorb up to 30% of their own weight in moisture without feeling damp. At the same time, merino wool is very light, breathable and naturally odourless.

MULESING FREE: 
Mulesing is a widespread surgical procedure in Australia, practised in sheep farming for the production of wool. In this procedure, the sensitive skin on the hindquarters of lambs, which has many wrinkles due to breeding, is cut off with a sharp knife and usually without anaesthesia.
The wool for this product comes from sheep that have not been subjected to mulesing, thus setting an example against the torturous procedure.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100:
OEKO-TEX has been certifying Löffler clothing since 1989. Today, all products manufactured by Löffler are certified according to the Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX (OETI 29613) and are therefore demonstrably free of harmful substances that are considered to be hazardous to the environment or health.

STeP BY OEKO-TEX:
The certification (OETI 13000149) of Löffler GmbH according to OEKO-TEX STeP ("Sustainable Textile Production") since 2014 documents that not only the products are safe, but also that they are manufactured according to high social and environmental standards.
