Cassette change

The most important tools you need to remove a sprocket are a sprocket holder (also called a chain whip) or sprocket pliers and a sprocket puller. The sprocket counterholder fixes the sprocket so that the lock ring can be loosened using the sprocket puller. The cassette can then be separated from the freewheel.
