The ND-1 nipple driver by Park Tool is a great time-saver, as it helps you drive conventional nipples quickly and easily during wheel building. The wrench screws the slotted-head spoke nipples from the rim base onto the spoke thread within seconds. Simply fit the self-centering tip of the wrench into the nipple head and move it in circles. Precision bronze bearings ensure a long, smooth running life. Also works with aero rims.

Dafür, dass es von Park tool ist der Griff sehr billig verarbeitet. Da wäre eine Voll-Metall-Alternative besser.

Funktioniert seh gut, allerdings nur zur Vorarbeit, zur Feinarbeit braucht man den "Spokey"

Leider steht die Qualität des Werkzeugs in keiner Relation zum relativ hohen Preis. Die drehbare Achse im Griff rutscht bereits bei sehr leichtem Zug aus der Aufnahme (beim Arbeiten in der Felgebohrung verkanten reicht aus), da die Sicherung auf der Achse nur geklemmt ist (Klemmscheibe ohne Achsnut). Zum Glück lässt sich das Problem leicht wieder beheben, ist aber schade, wenn das Werkzeug beim ersten Einsatz erst wieder repariert werden muss. Daher nur drei Sterne. Wenn es funktioniert, ist die Zeitersparnis beim Laufradbau jedoch nicht zu verachten.

Wir möchten uns bei dir bedanken, dass du dir die Zeit genommen hast, den Nippelspanner zu bewerten und bedauern, dass er dir nicht zu 100 % zusagt. Dein ROSE-Bikes Team.

Park Tool ist wie immer zu teuer. Nach 40 Jahren Einspeichen von Laufrädern von Hand habe ich mir, damit es etwas schneller geht, dieses Werkzeug geleistet. Durch den Nippel in der Mitte werden die Speichen alle gleich weit aber mit genügend Spiel eingedreht. Dies erleichtert die Zentrierung (insbesondere des Höhenschlags) und das Einspeichen wird um ein vielfaches beschleunigt.
Ob sich fast 20 Euro wirklich rechnen, muss jeder Laufradbauer für sich entscheiden - da ich aber so um die 10 Paare im Jahr für Freunde und Bekannte sowie meine Familie aufbaue, hat sich die Investition für mich schon gelohnt....
