Aerodynamic & agile

ROSE RC SIXTY carbon wheels make the XLITE even more aerodynamic and efficient. High-quality Newmen hubs and SAPIM bladed aero spokes give the wheel even better aerodynamics and outstanding stability. The 1620 g light, elegant carbon rim with 60 mm rim height, 29.5 mm rim width and 3 mm offset is equipped with super-fast Schwalbe Pro ONE TT road bike tyres.

Perfect design & full integration

The very stiff, light (approx. 395 g) and aerodynamic ROSE Race Carbon One-Piece cockpit perfectly integrates into the design concept of the XLITE. The design (83 mm reach, 130 mm drop, 3° flare) of the set-up allows for a modern, sporty riding position and style. What’s more, it offers more control in sprints or when riding out of the saddle to ensure a great performance.

The Xlite is an extremely well thought-out racing concept with an aggressive shape and progressive geometry. Short head tubes and steep seat angles make the riding position on the Xlite uncompromisingly athletic – every watt of your power is directly transformed in speed.

Xlite 06 Force AXS

Wegen des Schlagerpreises und der Optik hatte ich mich für das Xlite 06 mit Sram Force entschieden (Geometrie erinnert stark an das Tarmac SL 7, oder?). Bei mir waren noch Einstellung an der Schaltung und den Bremsen vorzunehmen, da unsauber eingestellt. Außerdem war der Gabelschaft zu kurz abgelängt, so dass die Vorbaukappe, die nur aus verstärktem Kunststoff besteht, beim Anziehen anbrach. Als Widerlager für die Einstellung des Steuersatzes nur bedingt brauchbar. Konnte das dann mit einem alten 1 1/8 Spacer und Ahaeadkappe festziehen. Hier hat mich Rose bei Konzeption und Montage nicht überzeugt. Sorry, aber die Einstellung des richtigen Steuerlagerspiels ist für für mich ein essentieller Sicherheitsaspekt! Das Rad ist rennoptimiert und in allem sehr schnell, spritzig, steif und top verarbeitet. Die Komponenten hochwertig, sogar Tobulite Leichtschläuche hat Rose spendiert. Der Freilauf der Nabe ist leider recht leise und nicht knackig-laut. Ich würde das Rose auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen. Wer bereit ist, noch selbst Einstellungen vorzunehmen, bekommt für den Preis ein wirklich tolles Gesamtpaket.

Hab's heute bekommen und schon beim auspacken gemerkt das es ein rundum gelungenes Bike ist.
Es sieht nicht nur beeindruckend aus es fährt auch dementsprechend.
Und das nicht nur Sram's neuer Force-Schaltgruppe wegen.
Die Haptik ist einfach toll.
