The Schwalbe MARATHON MONDIAL in the Double Defense, V-Guard version is the ultimate travel tyre for demanding roads, tracks and trails on all continents. Its modern tread design, based on the legendary Marathon XR, offers an optimised balance of grip and rolling resistance – perfect for on and off-road use.
The compact tread pattern reduces rolling resistance, while angular outer lugs ensure high grip and secure cornering traction.
The robust touring tyre has the proven Schwalbe Double Defense puncture protection with V-Guard insert. The V-Guard puncture protection consists of lightweight, cut-resistant high-tech fibres, while the Double Defence puncture protection combines two layers of double-layer nylon fabric and all-round SnakeSkin fabric. In addition, the durable ADDIX Performance Compound rubber compound ensures an excellent balance between performance and longevity.
