In the Max version with a wider seat, too, the Terry Butterfly Arteria Max Women really had to prove itself, being the successor of the popular Arteria saddle. And it did! Besides the even sportier design, the saddle also comes with a significantly enlarged opening in the saddle centre, which provides even better relief for the sensitive perineal area. Yet, as it is often the case, the actual further development can be found in details. Now, the distinction is even clearer between the two genders to make sure the saddle provides even more relief in gender-specific areas. The men’s saddle comes with a slightly slimmer relief channel which tapers to the back. Suiting the female anatomy, the relief channel tapers to the front and relieves thus the soft tissue from pressure exerted by the pubic bone. In this way, the Butterfly Arteria takes account of the findings made in the Terry ergonomics laboratory and offers even more progressive relief. Thanks to its sporty and minimalistic design, the Terry Butterfly Arteria works great on road bikes as well as mountain bikes and will always reward any rider with a big grin the longer the tour gets.
