You don’t want to you run out of power even on longer trips? Then simply mount the extra portion of 208 Wh battery capacity at the position of the bottle cage on your bike. This optional support is similar to a power bank and can be used when your main battery is low to secure up to 4.5 hours of pedalling assistance in total. This allows the range extender to charge the bike's main battery while it continues to supply power to the electric motor.
The technology is suitable for the Mahle X35 drive unit of our ROSE SNEAK PLUS and BACKROAD AL PLUS.
Note:
As it is an external additional battery, the main battery can discharge faster than the range extender can charge it when riding at maximum assistance for a longer period of time.
