B + M Lumotec IQ-XM E Highbeam Headlight with High Beam Function

With the LUMOTEC IQ-XM E High Beam e-bike headlight by the German manufacturer Busch & Müller you can turn night into day at the mere push of a button! Thanks to the switchable high beam, the powerful e-bike front light offers two different lighting settings for optimal vision in the dark.

The dipped beam ensures extremely bright and even road illumination. Just like any road-legal headlight, the IQ-XM E has an exact cut-off line when used in standard mode. By pushing the ergonomic handlebar button, the cut-off line is disrupted and a high beam is added for excellent long-range vision.

The front light can be variably mounted on the bike. In just a few simple steps, the holder on the IQ-XM E can be rotated 180° for suspended mounting. The tool for loosening the retaining ring on the housing is included.

The high-quality aluminium housing and a newly designed bracket turn the IQ-XM E into a real designer headlight. With its compact size, the front light also looks good on the cockpit. The optionally available aluminium handlebar bracket with prod. code 230755401 is suitable for handlebar installation.

Please note that the light outlet of your e-bike power supply must have a minimum power of 16 watts!



The LUMOTEC IQ-XM E Highbeam headlight by Busch+Müller is available in various versions with compatible plug-in connections for the motor to ensure correct connection to the on-board network (as of 2024):- Standard version for universal connection (e.g. to 12 volt Bosch, Shimano Steps, Brose)- Bosch eBike System 2 from 2013
- Bosch Smart System BES3 from 2021 (recognisable by System Controller, LED Remote or Purion 200 control unit)

*Attention:
The front light is compatible with a direct current power source (DC) of 9 to 48 volts. Some e-bikes can provide this, but NOT all do!
The light connection of the drivetrain system needs a minimum wattage rating of 16 W!
For the exact voltage supply of your e-bike lighting system, please check beforehand with the respective manufacturer.
NOT suitable for dynamo!
NOT approved for e-bikes with a speed above 25 km/h or speed pedelecs!

Note:
As the full beam shines straight ahead, they can cause glare for other drivers or cyclists. That’s why you should always dip your lights with oncoming traffic.
