The Schwalbe Thunder Burt in the Super Ground variety is part of the newest stage of development for Schwalbe’s Evolution Line mountain bike tyres.

With the fastest tread in the Schwalbe MTB universe, the Thunder Burt is a specialist for dry and action-packed XC-stretches!
In the “Super-Ground” version, it comes with a three-layer carcass under the centre tread and a chafer placed directly against the bead, which combine to offer additional protection against punctures and grinding at the rim. The proven SnakeSkin insert, providing excellent cut protection, isn’t just built into the side walls, but also along the entire surface.
In addition, Schwalbe has introduced a foldable bead core and improved tubeless mounting.

The Thunder Burt has countless flat and small knobs that ensure really fast and very quiet rolling. It also wins points with lots of gripping edges that bite into hard grounds. The angular shoulder knobs are also very reliable on cornering edges.
