The SRAM Apex AXS XPLR finally makes electronic shifting finally suitable for the masses. Experience precise, intuitive gear changes with just one tap. Left up, right down – that’s it. The single-speed gravel drivetrain with 12 gears makes it possible and offers an enormous range for extended tours and even steep off-road climbs thanks to the progressive sprocket gradation.
Stable gravel wheels and tyres with good grip
We fit the robust ROSE G30 LIGHT gravel wheels to the BACKROAD Apex AXS XPLR: With weight-optimised aluminium rims, high-quality Newmen hubs and sturdy Sapim spokes. The wide inner rim width of 25 mm increases the tyre volume and gives the already snappy WTB Raddler tyre even more stability when cornering.
Wide gravel handlebar: Made for off-roading
You can also rely on the Ritchey WCS Venturemax on root passages or fast gravel tracks. For full control, the handlebar ends are extra wide and the drop is less pronounced than on road bike handlebars. The flat bar top area and the characteristic "Bio-Bend" bend in the drop also provide more long-distance comfort.

Flex is fun: The deep cut-out in the seat tube provides a massive increase in comfort, while the balanced frame geometry offers perfect handling on the road, gravel and technical terrain. Only a dry throat can stop you.

The frame and fork allow for a tyre width of up to 45 mm with 700c and up to 47 mm with 650b wheels. For rougher road conditions, perfectly adapted protectors at the down tube and chainstays protect the paint.

Geweldige fiets op mooi prijspunt. SRAM AXS schakelt super.
Enige (grote) minpunt is het Selle Italia zadel dat op mijn eerste rit in tweeën brak. Rose zou hier een andere keus moeten maken.
Wat me echt tegen is gevallen is de Rose klantenservice die geen coulance toonde in de vervanging van het zadel voor een betere variant. Gemiste kans op een tevreden klant.

Absolut tolles Rad!!! Was man allerdings sagen muss, ist das der Service drum herum (wohl auch durch die enorme Nachfrage) etwas zu wünschen übriglasst. Der MA für die Probefahrt war der Einzige, der sich wirklich Zeit genommen hat und hier auch nochmal eine Beratung durchgeführt hat (leider habe ich den Namen vergessen). Der MA bei der eigentlichen Beratung hatte leider keine Lust... Mein Glück das ich mich vorher im Netz schon größtenteils selbst beraten habe. Da es hier aber um Bewertung des Fahrrads geht -> 5 Sterne! Auch wenn ich die Schaltung nochmal einstellen musste und die Scheibenbremse am Vorderrad quietscht (hoffe das bekomme ich noch gelöst). Wenn es um den Service/ die Beratung geht leider nur 3 Sterne.

Lieber Udo Brockmann vom Rose Team, das Gravelbike wurde mir am 08.07.24 zugestellt und ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Rad. Die Qualität und das Design sowie dein Engagement macht den ziemlich schlechten Kundenservice (außer mit dir) ein klein wenig gut. Schade dass eine gute Kommunikation mit deinem Team nicht möglich war. Beste Grüße aus Dresden.

Tolles Radl, gute Qualität. Läuft einwandfrei. Hätte mir nur etwas dünnere Reifen gewünscht (kann man ja nachrüsten). Lieferung zur Partnerwerkstatt erfolgte sehr schnell (Schaltung wurde nicht gut eingestellt)

This category applies to bicycles and e-bikes⁶ that meet the conditions of category 1 and are ridden on normal roads as well as in category 2 on unpaved roads and gravel paths with moderate inclines and descents. The tyres are in constant contact with the ground at average speed and they are only occasionally ridden over steps and drops of less than 15 cm.
