THE FOLLOWING CALCULATION WILL HELP YOU FIND THE RIGHT BIKE FRAME SIZE AND SADDLE HEIGHT:

Road/Gravel Inside leg x 0,66 = Frame size in cm
MTB Size S: 155 – 172 cm body height
Size M: 173 – 182 cm body height
Size L: 183 – 192 cm body height
Size XL: >192 cm body height
Fitness
or
Inside leg x 0,61 = Frame size in cm
Inside leg x 0,24 = Frame size in inches
Hybrid/Touring
or
Inside leg x 0,61 = Frame size in cm
Inside leg x 0,24 = Frame size in inches
Inside leg x 0,885 = Saddle height on all bikes

If you are exactly between two sizes, you'll have the choice: Choose the smaller frame if you prefer a "racing position" and the bigger frame if you prefer a more comfortable "touring position".

See our video step-by-step instructions on how to determine your frame size. We'll explain you how to easily measure shoulder width, inside leg length and arm length yourself.

For speeds in rough terrain

The GC50 wheels were specially developed for the BACKROAD FF and tested in the virtual wind tunnel. While the rear wheel is trimmed for lightweight construction, the wider front wheel profile noticeably improves aerodynamics. The rim profile is optimised for 40 mm wide tyres and harmonises perfectly with the Schwalbe G-One RS gravel tyre, whose moderate profile combines road speed with gravel grip.

Aero in the hoods – control in the drops

In the race position, the ROSE Gravel Race cockpit is both comfortable and aerodynamic. The slight flare of the drops also provides the necessary control on technical descents. So that you can easily reach the STI on descents, we have reduced the distance to the brake levers and still give you enough space for your forearms in a full sprint. Technical details: Weight: • approx. 398 g in 100/400 • Flare: approx. 15° • Drop: approx. 98 mm • Reach: approx. 73 mm • Stem: approx. -10° • Rise: approx. 20 mm

Backroad FF GRX RX825 Di2

Colour:
Supersonic Grey
Size:
M/L
Could be 6 stars out of 5 but - there is no possibility to fit road bike 2x crankset and GRX 2x fits pretty tight as well, so it’s not possible to have higher gearing than 48/31 in front- wich is bit to small for really fast gravel racing.
Apart of that bike, handling, look, finish is all perfect.
Next iteration Rose please work on chainring clearance - as it’s pure racing bike imo reducing tire clearance for up to 42 and allowing road crankset installation would be way better. Now only possibility is going 1x with 50 in front for shimano people.

Category 2

This category applies to bicycles and e-bikes⁶ that meet the conditions of category 1 and are ridden on normal roads as well as in category 2 on unpaved roads and gravel paths with moderate inclines and descents. The tyres are in constant contact with the ground at average speed and they are only occasionally ridden over steps and drops of less than 15 cm. These conditions can lead to contact with uneven terrain and the tyre repeatedly losing contact with the ground. The intended use is, for example, recreational riding. You don’t require any special riding skills.

Average speed 15 to 25 km/h

Height of steps and drops: < 15 cm

⁶E-Bikes = 250W 25km/h
