THE FOLLOWING CALCULATION WILL HELP YOU FIND THE RIGHT BIKE FRAME SIZE AND SADDLE HEIGHT:

Road/Gravel Inside leg x 0,66 = Frame size in cm
MTB Size S: 155 – 172 cm body height
Size M: 173 – 182 cm body height
Size L: 183 – 192 cm body height
Size XL: >192 cm body height
Fitness
or
Inside leg x 0,61 = Frame size in cm
Inside leg x 0,24 = Frame size in inches
Hybrid/Touring
or
Inside leg x 0,61 = Frame size in cm
Inside leg x 0,24 = Frame size in inches
Inside leg x 0,885 = Saddle height on all bikes

If you are exactly between two sizes, you'll have the choice: Choose the smaller frame if you prefer a "racing position" and the bigger frame if you prefer a more comfortable "touring position".

See our video step-by-step instructions on how to determine your frame size. We'll explain you how to easily measure shoulder width, inside leg length and arm length yourself.

In addition, the SHIMANO GRX gravel shifting groupset comes with a shift and brake lever combination that has been adapted for gravel use. Description

The Backroad GRX RX820 2x12 – a gravel bike with real racing vibes. Those who love long distances will get the full experience here.

The basis is the smooth-running carbon frame, on which Shimano's mechanical gravel top group with a double crank is installed – for fine gear steps and maximum pedalling efficiency. The lightweight G30 LIGHT aluminium wheels also get you up to speed quickly and, in combination with snappy WTB gravel tyres, provide propulsion on any surface.

If things get bumpy, you can rely on Ritchey's wide-spaced gravel handlebar. In addition to the necessary control, it also offers plenty of comfort and excellent ergonomics. So your arms don't get tired even after endless kilometres of gravel.

More long distance | Endurance
Flex is fun: The deep cut-out in the seat tube provides a massive increase in comfort, while the balanced frame geometry offers perfect handling on the road, gravel and technical terrain. Only a dry throat can stop you.

More off-road | Action
The frame and fork allow for a tyre width of up to 45 mm with 700c and up to 47 mm with 650b wheels. For rougher road conditions, perfectly adapted protectors at the down tube and chainstays protect the paint.

More experience | Adventure
Thanks to its many attachment points for bottle cages, Anything Cages or bags, the Backroad offers ultimate versatility, perfect for a day trip or bikepacking adventures.

Category 2

This category applies to bicycles and e-bikes⁶ that meet the conditions of category 1 and are ridden on normal roads as well as in category 2 on unpaved roads and gravel paths with moderate inclines and descents. The tyres are in constant contact with the ground at average speed and they are only occasionally ridden over steps and drops of less than 15 cm. These conditions can lead to contact with uneven terrain and the tyre repeatedly losing contact with the ground. The intended use is, for example, recreational riding. You don’t require any special riding skills.

Average speed 15 to 25 km/h

Height of steps and drops: < 15 cm

⁶E-Bikes = 250W 25km/h
