Flatbar handlebar – riding comfort on every ride
Wherever you are – the Ergotec M-Bar Sport Flatbar offers you comfort on cross-country tours, too. The slightly curved shape reduces the strain on your wrists and forearms and allows for a relaxed riding position. With the comfortable width of the handlebar, you can steer your HOBO precisely where you want to go.
Gravel-specific high-end shifting performance
The SHIMANO GRX RX810 11-speed groupset was specially developed for off-road use. The rear derailleur is designed to provide reliable shifting performance, even in demanding conditions. The groupset is equipped with first-class technologies and is SHIMANO's high-end mechanical groupset for versatile and demanding gravel action.
Relaxed riding on any path
This HOBO rolls on robust, lightweight ROSE G TWENTYFIVE 650B gravel wheels. With their wider inner rim width of 25 mm, they increase the contact area of the 47 mm wide WTB gravel tyre and thus provide more grip and more fun, even during off-road use. On these tyres, the HOBO will take you anywhere.
Naked or pimped?
The HOBO comes with a naked steel frame. If you want it fully equipped, you can pimp it with the matching HOBO Rack, the HOBO Rack Bag and the HOBO Straps. In addition, you can equip your HOBO with the matching mudguard set and the HOBO lighting system.

Guter Kauf! Über Details, wie Schaltungs- und Bremseinstellung will man sich nicht streiten. Dafür kann man dann zum örtlichen Service und dies berichtigen lassen.

Dieses Hobo habe ich gekauft, um täglich zwischen 20 und 40 Kilometern zu pendeln und ein Rad gesucht habe, das modern, robust und schnell ist und außerdem die Option, damit auf Feld- und Waldwegen zu touren, bietet. Diese Anforderungen erfüllt seitens der Geometrie und tollen Schaltgruppe das Hobo ziemlich gut.
Was nach drei Wochen, die ich das Rad nun fahre, wirklich extrem nervt, sind die ständig platten Reifen. Die WTB Byway (mit Schlauch und nicht Tubeless) sind so empfindlich, dass ich jedes mal mit Sorge, zu spät zur Arbeit zu kommen, losfahre, weil sich wieder mal ein Reifen plätten könnte. Ich fahre nur normale Straßen, Radwege und durch Parks. Mit anderen Rädern hatte ich auf dieser Strecke noch nie einen Platten. Ich verstehe nicht ganz wieso man für ein solches Rad, das urban-sorglos sein will, solche Divenreifen vorsieht. Außerdem werde ich den Lenker kürzen. Der Lenker an meinem Enduro ist genauso breit, wo das aus Stabilitätsgründen auch Sinn macht. Für das fahren in einer Stadt oder Gravel ist das aber viel zu breit und die Angst, irgendo mit dem Lenker anzuschlagen fährt ständig mit. Mit anderen Reifen und gekürztem Lenker aber ein tolles Rad.

Leider ist das, speziell für das HOBO entwickelte Schutzblechset, zumindest am Vorderrad genau das Gegenteil von dem was es verspricht. Fahre das Fahrrad mit den Schutzblechen seit gut 8 Wochen und habe unterschiedlichste Abstände vom Schutzblech zum Reifen ausprobiert. Bei jeder Einstellung bildet sich eine Wasserfahne, die schon bei leichtem Regen meine Schuhe durchweicht. Ich hätte gerne Schutzbleche die nicht nur zu den Reifen passen, sondern auch ihre Aufgabe erfüllen.

Cyclocrossien ja graveleiden jälkeen suoratankoinen pyörä tuntui alussa hieman oudolta. Varsinkin kun sarvet ovat tässä todella leveät. Lyhensin niitä lähes 8 cm. ja sitä kautta ajoasentokin muuttui mieleisemmäksi. Pyörä rullaa erinomaisen pehmeästi ja GRX-vaihteisto välityksineen on tähän asti paras mitä minulla on ollut.

Mega geiles Bike! Macht einfach Spaß zu fahren. Leichtfüßig, super präzise Schaltung (hier macht sich das Upgrade auf die GRX Komponente m.M.n. mehr als bezahlt). Und einfach lässig damit unterwegs zu sein. Obendrein ein Blickfänger.
Schutzbleche von SKS kann ich auch empfehlen - als Frontrack habe ich von 8Bars Berlin das Pizza Frontrack gekauft. Passt hervorragend , praktischer und sieht besser aus als der Rose Korb, wiegt nur 600g und kostet nur 1/3. Mit entscheidender Vorteil: Das Frontrack von 8Bars lenkt mit und vergrößert somit nicht den Wendekreis des Bikes.
