The DELTABEAT sports glasses are a milestone on RUDY PROJECT's path to sustainability. The sunglasses combine RUDY PROJECT's distinctive edgy design, advanced lens technology and superior comfort. The frame is made from RILSAN, a high-performance, sustainable and bio-based polymer of 100% renewable origin, to ensure maximum durability, lightness, flexibility and impact resistance.
The adjustable nose pads and temple tips ensure an individual fit and round off the package.

Their semi-rigid properties guarantee a physical protection of the eyes from impacts or chemical and atmospheric influences. Besides, they reduce injuries caused by impacts. Unlike most standard lenses, IMPACTX PHOTOCHROMIC lenses are fused in the mass of the polymer itself using a complex manufacturing process, making them more resistant and clearly optically superior to most competitors. IMPACTX is a family of patented polyurethane optical polymers, transparent and unbreakable, originally developed for military and aerospace requirements to provide bulletproof, transparent, and lightweight material capable of providing superior protection, reliability and longer lasting performance than polycarbonate.
The huge range of specialised RP OPTICS lenses allows you to choose the lenses that perfectly meet your requirements and preferences. The lenses enhance contrasts and protect from UV rays as well as from external influences. RP OPTICS lenses protect from UV rays up to 400 mm. Thanks to their high impact resistance and the huge range of coating and colours, they are particularly popular polycarbonate lenses for sports. The lenses neutralize ultraviolet radiation and maintain the colour integrity even with dark filters. They improve visual acuity and minimize distortion, while offering physical protection for your eyes.

The Rudy Project ventilation control is designed to regulate airflow through the lens to reduce thermal shock and prevent fogging, as well as ensure perfect vision and comfortable ventilation.
The glasses frame is made from RILSAN, a high-performance, sustainable and bio-based polymer of 100% renewable origin that was developed by Arkema. This ensures maximum durability, lightness, flexibility and impact resistance.
RILSAN is made from the oil of castor beans grown in the Gujarat region of India. The beans are crushed to produce castor oil. The oil is further refined in several steps to obtain the primary, bio-based raw material in the polymer.
