The WICKED WILL is one of the most versatile MTB tyres in the Schwalbe range and combines grip, controllability and low rolling resistance like no other. Whether downhill, uphill, dry or wet – the WICKED WILL knows no limits. When developing the down-country and trail tyre, the focus was on the best possible performance as an all-rounder. It’s not a tyre that is “neither fish nor fowl”, but a tyre that impresses on all levels in varied terrain with lots of elevation gain and that is designed for maximum speed on aggressive singletracks.

The MTB tyre is fast, but not quite as fast as the perfect cross-country tyre. It's aggressive, but not quite as aggressive as a custom trail tyre. The WICKED WILL combines the best features from both worlds. With the “Super-Ground” casing, the tyre is a versatile all-rounder especially suitable for fast-paced tours that feels at home on practically any terrain. The ADDIX SpeedGrip rubber compound promises a perfect blend of traction, grip and durability.

The WICKED WILL combines the tread depth of a cross-country tyre with the block shapes and proportions of a trail or downhill tyre. Besides the open tread design with an easily rolling centre tread featuring ramped tread blocks, the smooth transition to the shoulder knobs ensures optimal control when cornering. Each knob has two sipes to better dig into the ground for more propulsion. The shoulder knobs with long braking edges come from the downhill sector and provide reliable lateral support. Despite the traction generated by the tread, the tyre rolls almost silently and with low vibration.

The shallow tread depth also improves rolling characteristics and saves weight for fast acceleration and uphill climbing. Together with the proven SnakeSkin fabric layer, the Super Ground tyre weighs quite little and impresses with good puncture protection. That’s why it comes with a three-layer carcass under the centre tread and a chafer placed directly against the bead, which combine to offer additional protection against punctures and grinding at rim.

Schwalbe's WICKED WILL combines speed and grip with good puncture resistance in one tyre and is a real MTB all-rounder for more efficiency and speed.

Tip:
The WICKED WILL can not only be ridden as a pair front and rear, but also in combination with other Schwalbe tyres: For rides with a stronger focus on downhill, you can combine it as a fast rear tyre with a more aggressive tread in front, such as a NOBBY NIC (prod. code: 2306366). For XC-oriented rides, you can combine it as a front tyre with a RACING RALPH at the rear (prod. code: 2306375).
