The combination lock is certainly one of the most popular and best-selling bicycle locks. It consists of a hardened steel cable with a plastic coating. The two ends of the steel cable are connected with a lock cylinder. The coil cable lock is therefore available with either a numerical code or a key.

How long should the cable lock be?
Cable locks are characterised above all by their high flexibility and low weight. The longer your bike cable lock is, the more conveniently you can attach it to objects. As a shorter version, a coil cable lock is also suitable for securing bike helmets, luggage and other items to the bike frame. When folded, cable locks are very space-saving and lightweight, making them easy to transport.

How do I transport my cable lock?
Due to their low weight and paint-friendly coating, cable locks are often placed around the seat post or stowed in the backpack while riding.
